Hello all, Just a reminder that as the weather gets muddy we'll be transitioning to no shoes in the hall, so bring a pair of slippers to keep your feet warm. FolkHarmonic Voices is open to any and all who would like to attend/drop in. The resources page for that group has the same password (why complicate things right?) so if you'd like to check out what we've been working on just head to the resource page in the venue bar. I've been very impressed with your improvising for Coupe de Ville! its sounding really great. here are some videos that you can either play along with or 'lift' ideas from... remember learning other folks solos is one of the greatest forms of flattery in music. It means they've had ideas worth stealing! (we call it lifting if its from an improvised solo or quoting if its from the melody or recognizable head of the tune) The first one is NOT in the key of G! so you may have to transpose your riffs, but it has some cool ideas, same with the other instructional videos
